Ella Bittel will be one in a great line up of presenters at the 2008 Trailblazer Festival taking place in November at the Earl Warren Showground in Santa Barbara, CA. The event is focused around trail horses and their riders. If trail riding is your passion, you want to be there. http://www.trailblazerfestival.us/  Great progress is being made in special needs and hospice care for our smaller animal companions, such as cats and dogs. The situation is different with large animals, as with bigger body size logistical challenges in caring for an ill animal can increase greatly. At this event we will invite horse owners to share with us their experiences with providing special needs or end-of-life care for their horse or other large animal. Our volunteers will be recording those stories to gather information for those who might face a similar situation in the future.
